Your journal for English class is a personal space for practicing writing, and exercising your creativity. You will be given a prompt in class, on the first day of each school week, but can fill the rest of your pages with whatever you are interested in.
The only requirement for this assignment is to write, write, write! By the time you turn in your journal, you should reach a word count of around 1500 words. This is the equivalent of writing 5 pages on college-ruled paper, but may vary depending on the size of your journal and handwriting. Please plan to count the number of words you write on your first full page of journaling, so that I can more easily determine that you've reached the word count.
Due Dates: Your journal is due every other week, according to your last name. The first group of "A Week" journals are due on Sept. 18, 2017.
A - L = A Week
M - Z = B Week
